Great snow blade
After having this product for almost a month I am pleased with it. I consider it more of a snow blade than plow. But it works as advertised. Little difficult to use at first when blade is on rear of vehicle as you plow in reverse but you get the hang of it after a while. Nice quality... -
Great manual snow plow
I've owned this Snowsport plow for 2 winters and I can say that I am very impressed with it. I own a 1999 Ford Expedition and due to the lite duty front end I cannot put on a regular hydraulic or electric snow plow. I came across this ( with free shipping) and decided to go for it. You get a...

I have 87' 12 hp industrial engine riding mower which i am interested in putting a small atv plow on. I'm wonderind if such a small riding mower could push new england snow.
Light fluffy snow maybe. Heavy wet snow, no way. Get a snow blower and save the money and aggravation of the plow.

We have a huge snow storm here in Chicago more than 14 inches!!!! And it is heavy snow~~~~~~~you can snow men!
This has happened to me, too.
I shovel the snow all the way across to the other side of the street.
I also have a John Deere LX176. Do i need chains for the plow or am i wasting my time?
Your GT245 has more horsepower and a heavier frame than the 176 so will handle a 48" snowplow easily. You still need to remember that, relatively, it's a small machine and if you have a heavy snowfall or a long distance to plow you will be...
Winter is coming and Thomas, being a small engine, needs to put on his snowplow. Thomas hates his snowplow; he thinks it makes him look funny, and when he has it on, the other, bigger engines tease him. But Thomas saves the day when a big storm comes up and Toby is stuck on his branch line.
Describes and illustrates the job of a snowplow driver and how a snowplow works.
The redoubtable Grandma-this books is a sequel to Grandma Drove the Garbage Truck-is at it again. In addition to collecting the town's garbage, Grandma and her sons also plow the roads in the winter. But what happens when a blizzard comes through, it's the day of the big town carol sing, and Grandma's sons are all stuck in the snow and unable to plow? Leave it to Grandma to clear the way to the church for the carol sing. With more help from her grandson Billy, she gets the streets clear and helps out her neighbors in the process, too. In fact, Grandma does such a good job with the plowing, she even beats Santa to the carol sing.

Woman dies in car-snowplow collision
UPDATED 11:45 a.m. Friday
WATERLOO — Snow fell gently, coating the burgundy velvet robe of the Santa ornament that lay face down and still on the trunk of the car. A sprig of a green bough poked out from beneath the white fur trim around the hood.
The Santa had been thrown out the smashed back window of a Monte Carlo when it collided late Thursday morning with a snowplow.
A cardboard picture of a bouquet of roses hung motionless from the rear-view mirror, exposed by the wreckage to the damp air. The words Dedicated to the One I Love were wrapped around the flowers.
These silent items gave a glimpse into the life of the 29-year-old Lunenburg County woman killed while driving this car when it collided with a snowplow shortly before 11:30 a.m. on Highway 210 in Waterloo, about 15 kilometres outside of Bridgewater.
On Friday morning, RCMP identified her as Naomi Rosemary Steele, 29, of Chelsea.
Her male passenger and the driver of the plow were rushed by ambulance to South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater.
Snow Plow and Small Town Living
I am a former US Marine and I am a Vietnam veteran. Also served in US Army. I am an avid angler and hunter and my fishing/hunting trips become the basis of much of my writing. I am married, have three step-children and two children of my own from my first marriage. This year, at age 59, I earned my MA in English from the University of North Dakota. I had planned to take an afternoon off this weekend and do some late season pheasant hunting. First, I had to clear the snow that had accumulated Thursday night and most of Friday. It wouldn’t be such a bad job if I didn’t have an ongoing battle with George, head of the City Shop and primary snow plow driver. In a lot of ways I find the whole thing amusing and somewhat reminiscent of the rural mail delivery madman Crumb Petrie in the 1988 Chevy Chase film Funny Farm . In the film Petrie drives over the mailbox, throws the mail at Chase’s character and commits a number of other hilarious acts. Our George hasn’t driven over our mailbox (we don’t have one), but he has buried our driveway in up to three feet of snow on a good day (for George). After he passes with the snow plow I can count on at least half-an-hour, if not more, digging out the driveway entrance—even with my snow blower! The problem is simple enough, George must clear the road and when he passes my drive his plow mounds up the snow. George is actually a pretty nice guy and we are both members of the Finley Wildlife and Gun Club, but I can’t help but picture a slight upturn of his mouth when he first eyes my driveway and slowly, carefully, and corresponding to the distance closed as he nears my driveway, his features begin to take on a distinctive Snidely Whiplash sneer as the snow that had once blanketed the street is scraped from the asphalt and gloriously pilled in my drive--the new guy's drive. Sometimes, while standing in my kitchen looking out the window and watching George bearing down on my driveway...
first snowplow!
On Thursday evening a student fell through the roof of a library and died. And so we had one student fall to his death on the first day of classes as well as on pretty much the last. I explained the recent fall to James (without referencing the one from September) and he immediately remembered the earlier fall and asked me if Queen's had a problem with students falling. I wonder.
