Because the way things are flourishing this winter, kids might be making up their snow days in what would have been the well-spring of their summer break. A few prime Ohio districts have maxed out their freebie snow days, and quantity of others are nearly there.

Dublin, South-Western and Westerville all hit No. 4 yesterday, and Columbus schools reached that calculate by announcing last night that its buildings will be closed again today.

In Fairfield County, Bloom-Carroll schools have passed their limit and certain they'll be open on June 3. And Circleville schools in Pickaway County will be marking their eighth snow day by occupation off again today.

Tom Patterson, governor of operations for the Circleville division, said it means students there will have a shorter broach break, with April 7, 8 and 9 now scheduled as makeup days. If any more "desolation days" are used, they'll be added in June, he said.

The federal allots five calamity days before schools must become them up.
