I've had one of these plows on my Yard Man Autodrive 17 HP tractor since 2000. I've worked its buns off and now need another one. Yeah, if you wait until you have 10" of heavy wet snow on the ground, you better get out the two-stage 4 stroke snow blower! But if you have a reasonable approach to... -
Yep! Parts Were Missing!
I bought this snowplow because I had one like it many years back. That old one pushed a lot of snow! I sold my old tractor and blade. I decided to get another one for my newer garden tractor. I read the reviews and noticed a few people said that their plows arrived short some parts. I bet...
we got 7-8 in of snow and i decided to put the camera on a tripod and film the cub did a pretty good job

@1936case i did know they nad no fenders. just slipped my mind. basicall the 73 71 72 and 100 and original were the only ones with that option. i was thinking wrong. but i was not being rude in any way.. i kindly asked in a previous post was he mistaking for a 122. then he went on saying it was a 112. but after i told him the models he appologized
@1936case look at the times… the times of them were different. A mine was at 815 AM and B his was at 935AM i was not rude. after i pointed out htat cub cadet never did that then he said oh it is a JD 112. he appologized. there fore i was not rude to him in any way. also the model 71 and 72 did not have fenders. and that is my mistake.
Also montecarloss85ho for the record you wrote in your one post that the model 71 and model 72 were SQUARE fendered models when in fact they were not. They were not equipped with fenders from the factory as standard equipment. Fenders for these 2 models as well as the Original, 73 and 100 were an option from IH and they were ROUND fenders.
they most certainlly made a 112. 112 square fender was made in the late 60’s until 1974. 1975 it was replaced with the 200 series. both were good machines, in fact they didnt turn to crap until 1988 when the 200 series was replaced with the newer 200 series(like the 240). the newer machines got rid of the cast iron k series(with a kawaski) and went to a alminun transaxle. yuk
i have a 71 112 square fender. right now i have a 37a blower mounted on the front. i also have a 38 2 blade style mower for the summer. the old gal will remove ALLOT of snow. its a tough little machine. these machines were all built back in the day when they were built like mini farm tractors. they are extremely tough. no plastic no aluminum no cheap low grade steel either, just American iron. i love my 112, i actaully cut right through 3′ drifts with it, no problem. also mows really good.
