looking to buy a snowplow-need to know if meyers is reliable
i am only using it for my own 800 foot long driveway (limestone) in the country.
You will pay more but its Worth the money to buy a Fisher plow.

What ? can you be a little more specific. If you allready have the plow just measure the dia. check to see if its stranded or solid copper. Wire is available at any auto or HW store.

24 plows will work around the clock to clear snow in Rockford
ROCKFORD — Rockford Public Works Director Tim Hanson said 24 snow plows will work around the clock until 8 p.m. Friday.
“They’ve been doing arterials and collectors all day,” he said. “We’ll probably spread 1,000 tons of salt.”
Not only are snowplow drivers anticipating another 1 to 3 inches of snow, the temperature is expected to drop into the teens for an overnight low.
“We want to make sure we can get it cleaned up, so we don’t have an ice surface,” Hanson said of the round-the-clock deployment, Raybine, the city’s contracted snow plowing company, will be asked to deploy its fleet of 100-plus trucks to the residential areas at 10 p.m. Hanson said.
Hanson is reminding motorists the odd-even parking ordinance will be in place throughout the duration of the snow removal. Motorists are asked to have their vehicles moved to the odd side of the street by 8 a.m. Friday.
As of 5 p.m., 4.6 inches of snow had fallen at the Chicago-Rockford International Airport. A meteorologist at the National Weather Service said 4 to 5 inches of snow had fallen in area communities as well including: 5 inches in Machesney Park, 4.5 inches Loves Park, and 4.4 inches in Capron in Boone County.
