The average rate is $100 to $150 per hour. Before you can bid the job though, you should figure out how long it will take you to plow the lot... keep in mind also the fact that people don't know how to drive in the snow, so that will slow you down...

1st anniversary of blizzard falls on balmy mid-60s day
Amanda Sykora's husband was driving a big Ford F-150 pickup, but even it couldn't plow through some of the snow drifts, and they had to abandon their plans to pick up a co-worker.
"It was a busy day because a lot of people weren't able to make it," remembers Sykora, a registered nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Hillcrest Medical Center.
"I just think how happy I was to get there safe."
Like everyone else in the Tulsa area, Sykora woke up one year ago Wednesday in the middle of the worst blizzard in Tulsa history, an epic 18-hour winter blast that buried the city under 14 inches of snow.
This Wednesday, Tulsa will enjoy radically different weather, continuing one of the mildest winters on record.
A year ago, the temperature barely reached double-digits.
This year, early morning temperatures won't dip below the upper 30s, and the afternoon high will reach the mid-60s.
A year ago, visibility was less than a
SnowSport HD Snow Plow – Carving Up The Competition
SnowSport has been perfecting the way that you move snow for many years now. The SnowSport HD pickup snow plow is very easy to install and attaches to a front or rear 2" receiver hitch. Traditional plows are heavy and bulky but the HD is offering a compact and lightweight design. The lightweight design protects against unnecessary wear and tear, sustaining the life of your trucks engine. Don't let the lightweight design fool you though. They were designed for commercial and residential use and will move the same amount of snow as the big boys. Equipped with their patented angling interceptor, the SnowSport HD snow plow gives you the option to either plow snow head on or push it to either side of your truck. These snow plows for pickups are the lightweight and affordable alternative to moving snow.

Holiday Safety Tips
While I would rather start this holiday newsletter with more joyous articles (and we do have some), I first need to let you know that in the last several months there have been at least 6 break-ins primarily in the area bounded by Williams Parkway –York St. and 6th Ave. — 9th Ave. with one south of 6th Ave in the Circle Dr. area. As a proactive measure, I would encourage you to be alert to strange cars and strangers in general in your neighborhood. If either concerns you, please call the non-emergency police number at 720-913-2900. While the police may not respond immediately, your call will guarantee a drive-by from DPD. In light of these break-ins, below is a list of extra precautions recommended by the Denver Police Department to help keep your home and neighborhood safe during the holidays and all-year round.
