If you go to Target, Home Depot or any of the other big chains that sell the Toro Electric Shovel you will probably find the same thing that I did...that it is SOLD OUT. Why? Because this is one of the most helpful tools to have ever been placed on the market. It works fairly well on small... -
Surprisingly Excellent
This is review written with Montana winter experience. The reviews were generally good with this item so I bought one, mainly for the convenience of easily cleaning the drawbridge, walkways, entry, and in front of my garage without a shovel. This device is pre-assembled, easily carried,...

Every winter the snow plow spreads salt and rock all over the road. During the the next snow storm the plow would throw all said rocks onto the yard. Now from 10 feet from road my lawn is covered in small rocks.
We have a small deciduous tree on our front lawn (it's probably about 6 or 7 years old - the house is 5 years and it was probably planted at the same time). The tree has a crack in the middle portion of its trunk.
I'm not an expert, but I know I've seen trees with damage to them repaired by applying a sealant that looks like tar to them. It may actually be tar, but I assume it is a tree-specific sealant.

Winter is coming and Thomas, being a small engine, needs to put on his snowplow. Thomas hates his snowplow; he thinks it makes him look funny, and when he has it on, the other, bigger engines tease him. But Thomas saves the day when a big storm comes up and Toby is stuck on his branch line.

Mild weather good for city snow removal budgets
ESCANABA - Although winter started late this season in regards to local snowfall, it's still too early to predict how snow removal budgets will fare in the long run, according to area public works superintendents.
"Winter's a long season for us. It's too early to tell," commented Bill Farrell, Escanaba's city engineer and public works superintendent.
The start of Escanaba's snow removal season typically starts around Christmas but came a bit later this year with the recent winter weather this past weekend, said Farrell. He added, he can't say if this means an early spring because of the unpredictable weather here.
"We had no all-hands-on-deck event but we could blow the budget tomorrow," Farrell said, not knowing what Mother Nature has in store for the rest of the winter.
"When it comes down, we clean it up," he put it simply.
Of the department's 17 employees - including three mechanics - a typical large snowfall requires a team of 15 workers operating snow removal and salt equipment. The remaining two employees operate the garbage trucks each day, he said.
SUV Snow Plow Designed With The Homeowner in Mind | Small Snow Plow
It’s nearly winter and in Minnesota as in most of the northern United States, that means one thing: snow is on its way. Homeowners groan in anticipation of the coming season, preparing themselves to put in a lot of time and effort keeping their driveway shoveled or paying for a snowplow service. However, one Minnesota company has introduced a new style of driveway snow plow which may change all that.
It’s called “My Snow Plow Buddy” and it’s a very different kind of snow plow. Unlike other models currently available, My Plow Buddy is designed for the homeowner who wants to be able to keep their driveway free of snow and ice during the winter months, but doesn’t want to go through the trouble of welding, drilling or bolting a plow on to the front of their vehicle, which would more than likely voiding their warranty in the process.
This newer style of snow plow requires no frame mounting whatsoever; instead, it is easily installed by attaching the plow to the vehicle’s front tow hooks with clamps and can be simply removed once the job is complete. For many homeowners in the snow belt, the availability of this plow is a welcome development.
“Speaking as a Minnesotan, I’ve spent a lot of time in my life shoveling or using a snow blower. My Plow Buddy is simply a much better way to get the job done and I’m very pleased to be able to offer this product to people all over the country who want to be able to keep their driveways clear this winter and for many winters to come,” says My Snow Plow Buddy; Bruce Wahlstrom.
“It used to be that you had to bolt or weld a plow to your vehicle, but not anymore – this plow just clamps on to your tow hooks, you attach two battery connections and you’re good to go. It’s really that simple to have a full size 8′ by 21″ plow; it takes just a few minutes to attach it and it detaches just as quickly,” added Wahlstrom.
