Must have for snow!

Great Product

As the first major snowstorm of Winter 2012 bore down on the Greater Buffalo Region this week, Dennis Flint geared up.
Dennis Flint , the owner of Amherst, New York-based Big D Towing, hit the streets along with two of his employees early Friday morning, their powerful, snowplow-equipped tow trucks part of a large fleet subcontracted by local governments in Buffalo, Amherst and surrounding communities to keep roads clear. But unlike many of their fellow plowers, Flint and his Big D crew added a few additional stops - clearing private driveways of senior citizens, private roads inside age-restricted townhouse communities and parking lots outside three different senior centers, all free of charge.
"It's just something I feel we should do," Dennis Flint said. "It's a nice way to give back."

V6 pathfinder 2003 with 63K ---I noticed after an oil change and a Nissan oil filter change at idle I hear a very light knock from the engine area I checked the top of the engine with my stethoscope and cold not detect any knocking so I'm under the assumption its a dull knock from the bottom ,when I accelerate it goes away and runs very well , should I use a 10x30 oil instead of my usual 5x30 weight oil? I've had what sounds like the same "knock" you're talking about since mine was new. I brought it to the dealers attention on a few occasions and they always told me that it was fine and most of them do that. I investigated it a bit myself and sounds like it may be coming from the rear bottom end of the engine, or maybe the front of the transmission. My mother-in-law has an '01 LE, my Mom had an '03 LE and both of theirs did have it as well. As far as running a thicker oil, I have never pulled one of these motors apart (yet :)), so I would be leery of doing that. FWIW - I've got 104k on mine with no issues, mom-in-law has 88k no issues and mom ran about 70k without issues before totaling it out.
