The Snatcher saga continues as the New Republic of Tranquility Key faces its toughest challenge to date. Well just got back into town yesterday from deer camp, and I'm glad to say we had successful trip and all returned safe and sound. Our party took 2 bucks this year so far both 8 points,taken Monday morning. I took this good 8 point at 10:30 am Monday he field dressed at 165 pounds. The other smaller 8 was taken early at 7:30 am Monday and was taken by the property owners wife. All in all a great trip and a good time was had by all, family, friends, and food thats what it's all about. Good luck fellow hunters and be SAFE! Got word my old man (70) got a 6 point last night, his first since the ARs came into play. He has passed several over the years he could of shot, but didn't, but this year he said he had an itch to scratch...God Bless him, he scratched it. Said it is a really old deer on the decline...I am anxiously awaiting pictures as i type this. Burnt "HOLY COW" what can I say those are some monster deer! 165# is the biggest deer I've ever taken, but those are some big a#% whitetails! Congrats!!! Like you guys we had backstraps for dinner Monday night on the grill, they never make it home.LOL! Didn't use the Grizz to haul them bucks out, the land owner has a Ranger sure is nice loading them into that bed and not have worry about tying them off to the Grizz. Used the Grizz to get back and forth from camp to the stand which sure is nice the older I get,the walk seems to get longer and longer every year!!LOL!! Love that Grizz!!
