Does a surprisingly good job for its size and price
Just bought the model SJ621 (Same as the SJ620 except it has a halogen light at the front) at a big box club store. I wanted the unit with the light and Amazon doesn't seem to carry the SJ621, so I'll review the mechanicals of the SJ621 which are identical to the SJ620. First used this little... -
Great Little Snow Blower!!!
This is a great little snow blower! Bought it after reading several reviews from different sites and decided to try it. I am very glad I did. Amazon has one of the best prices on it and got it in 3 days! I was worried that it wouldn't cut thru the snow very well but others had said in their...

I have a 5 acre farmette. I am looking at a 30 HP John Deere with a front loader, finish mower and snow blade. A brand new 2006 runs $22K. Should I go with a John Deere or another brand?
Sounds like a wise purchase (JD 790-?).
I would get the 3pt blade on the back, if room permits for storage, it is handy with snow removal to have the front loader and rear blade. Blade scrapes it and then the loader piles it high.

I just bought a craftsman pro series lawn mower and I was looking for a snow blade attachment, and it seems that craftsman does not make a snow blade for their tractors.
I don't no any thing about craftsman pro series, but I suggest to try search on http://www.agritura.com. I found various farming related products on this online shop. There are various lawn mower knives and blades are available.

Southwest Michigan's ski areas: Our slopes are open -- at last
After weeks of staring at unseasonable green and brown, Southwest Michigan's skiers and snowboarders are finally getting to strap on their boots this week — in what is the latest start to the season since the 1970s, area ski operators say.
At Bittersweet Ski Resort in Otsego , 17 of 20 trails were
open and at 2 p.m. Tuesday, the line to buy lift tickets stretched all the way
to the door.
"Once it snows, everybody knocks on the door," said Tom Smitchols, marketing manager.
On Monday, more than 2,000 patrons hit the slopes, according to Smitchols, and he expected a similar number Tuesday, with Kalamazoo students still on winter break and other area children enjoying the year's first snow day.
"We had a line out the door for two hours yesterday," said Dick Work of Marshall, a ski school instructor for Bittersweet, who says his students range in age from 4 to 82 years old.

Air & Style Beijing: Rider's find out who they will compete head-to-head with Scotty Lago is the only one with the balls to hit the jump in practice.
GrindTV Newswire, Via TTR World Tour: (December 2, 2010) The sky was clear, but strong winds kept riders from testing out the freshly built Air & Style Beijing Big Air jump. The only rider who hit the jump with full speed was Scotty Lago (USA), who got respect from his fellow competitors. While other riders sat back in disbelief, Scotty showed no fear and with his first attempt got the speed correct, adjusting for the heavy cross wind and landed perfectly. The kicker will see some minor..
John Deere AF11 Snow Blade
The John Deere AF11 snow blades are very popular as they just have so many great features that few very few companies can also offer. They are very similar to the John Deere AF12 Snow Blade series. The JD AF11 snow blade series are probably most well known for the fact that the blades themselves last twice as long as conventional snow blades due to the simple (yet fantastic) fact that they are reversible. So if you do find that you have completely worn down or broken one side of the blade you can just switch it around to the other side and start using it again. Not only that, but the lower cutting edge on these snow blades has been heat treated to enhance their strength and durability.
The John Deere AF11 Series of snow blades also feature a hydraulic angle adjustment of up to 30 degrees (on each side) so that if you are dealing with awkward places where you are clearing snow, you will easily be able to adjust the angle of your snow blade and properly clear the area. The only requirement is that your front end loader has at least 3 hydraulic lines.
The John Deere AF11 series of snow blades also feature John Deere’s Quik Tatch system so that you can quickly and easily line up and attach the snow blade (or detatch it). You will also notice that the John Deere AF11 snow blade is made of heavy duty steel to prevent bending or major deflections in the blade during operation to ensure a quality and even clearance level and lengthen the life of the snow blade. The John Deere AF11 snow blade comes in 3 different sizes; a 1.8 m (72 inch) model, a 2.1 m (84 inch) model and a 2.4 m (96 inch) model.
