Husqvarna 12527HV snowthrower - first impressions
This is my first sno blower as well so read this with a grain of salt. Received the unit fully assembled so that step was already out of the way. The engine starts fine out of my garage (temp of 30F to 0F depending on outside conditions) by hand so I don't use the electric start. (see below as... -
Works great
I purchased this snowblower about 6 years ago---the first 2 YEARS it was very reliable(in garage whole time). The first time I used it it worked Great and I thought man this is Awesome---I have a very large driveway and it did it with relative ease. Then I went to use it on the next snow fall...
Just wanted to ask a question about my snowblower. I was blowing snow this morning and my blower died 3 times. the first 2 i got it back going the 3rd no dice. Starter works but nothing catches.
when you say nothing catches when you pull it over and it makes a different sound too. sounds to me like no compression maybe you threw a rod(engine spins real free) or a valve problem check for compression! if none call seller asap!

Regional businesses, winter sports clubs want more snow
The mild winter weather has been either a blessing or a curse for businesses.
Thomas J. Cheney, owner of Cheney Tire, 839 State St., said business was sluggish there throughout December as both winter-tire and snowblower sales dipped considerably from the previous year.
Snow in the north country is as important to the economy in the north country as the sun is in the summer, he said. Our business thrives on the fall sales of tires and snowblowers, but when we dont get snow, people wont spend money before Christmas. And with warm weather, were not seeing as much service, either, because cars arent breaking down.
Unless weather becomes especially bad in January and February, he said, many customers will put off buying snow tires until next winter.
Big Apple Music, Watertown, has sold about 100 fewer remote car starters than it did last year during December owing to the mild temperatures, owner Robert D. Ferris said.
