Couldn't be happier so far!
So I ordered this model even though it had no reviews at the time. I was looking at the comparable Toro and Snowjoe models, but couldn't bring myself to buy either since there were so many negative reviews in addition to the positive ones. I went with the Greenworks for two reasons: 1) The... -
What a great little machine!
I will start by saying I am a female and the primary user of this snow blower. I had an OLD Toro that I always fought with to start because either my arm isn't long enough or I just don't have the upper body strength to start the thing. I wanted something easy for me to start and that would...

Over the weekend I bought an old Toro snow blower at a yard sale. It's a 5 hp and it has friction discs. I have never heard of friction discs before. Obviously they are not any better than drive belts, but I am looking for information about them.

It's been many years since I've had a garage sale, but have quite a bit to get rid of and was thinking about doing a sale.
What are some good hints about doing a garage sale?
How do I price items.
It depends on the item's condition. 10-25% of the original retail generally. For something in really good shape or with tags you can charge more.

snow blowers for sale with discount
Where's The Snow?
The winter outdoor aisle has five snowblowers lined up ready for a sale. Unfortunately for Schwering’s Hardware on Broad Street in Palmyra, there’s no snow to blow.
“Last year, we had easily sold 10 snowblowers by January,” said sales associate Colin Bird. “This year, we sold one in the beginning of the season to someone who wanted to get a jumpstart on winter.”
Snow shovels?
“More than 100 of them,” Bird said with a laugh. “Last year, we ran out. It’s hard to believe it’s winter.”
Tell that to Mother Nature.
Over at Pep Boys on Route 130, Michelle Maxwell said last year the store emptied out of scrapers, bags of snow melt, grip tracks and 12-volt heaters.
“Right now, we have 60 bags of snow melt,” said the retail sales manager, pointing to a large pile in the store, “and we haven’t sold one yet. Last year, we sold over 100 bags. Nothing is moving.”
Maxwell said in her six years with the company, “last year was the busiest year” selling winter snow supplies.
