Easy to assemble and sturdy construction.
Very easy to assemble and spacious enough to hold my 30 pound bag of salt as well as my spreader. At forty dollars, it's not exactly cheap, but it does the job. -
Great storage!
I bought this for storage in the summer for potting mix, hand gardening tools etc. Works great and currently is the only seat on my small 5 x 9 deck, I have so many plants there is no room to put my other seating. Even when we had several days of heavy rain it did NOT leak even with the high...

I had this happen to my mailbox too, and YES...the city I live in DID replace mine with a generic, cheaper one. ( The one I had was a more expensive, larger box.) I wasn't real happy, but at least they replaced it. Call your city dept. to find out.

We are wanting to downsize our home and the collection, while in perfect condition and in original boxes, is something I'm thinking about not taking with us due to storage issues.
Assume for a moment that it may be precious to you, but very narrowly defined in that context, to another group.
Value is certainly relative to desire, popularity, rareity, supply, demand, and budget.

Urbanization modifies underlying groundwater systems. This often leads to adverse hydrological, water quality, geotechnical, and socio-economic effects which jeopardize sustainability. Indeed, for many urban aquifers world-wide, we do not know whether there even exist socially-acceptable sustainable hydrological systems. Given that around 50% of the world's population live in cities, and that urban populations are expanding rapidly, the issues are important and becoming increasingly urgent. To reduce the effects of such impacts, management is required irrespective of whether the groundwater is to be used or not. This management must be based on a sound technical understanding of the interacting processes involved. The forty papers in the present volume explore the state of this understanding in the context of a wide range of countries (and therefore cultures), climates, and geologies. They are divided into topic areas covering flow, chemical water quality, biological water quality, remediation,...
How are we able to understand each other in our daily interactions? Through the use of such "folk" concepts as belief, desire, intention, and expectation, Daniel Dennett asserts in this first full scale presentation of a theory of intentionality that he has been developing for almost twenty years. We adopt a stance, a predictive strategy of interpretation that presupposes the rationality of the people - or other entities - we are hoping to understand and predict. The 10 essays included here represent the vanguard of Dennett's thought, push his theories into surprising new territory, and reveal fresh lines of inquiry into fundamental issues in psychology, artificial intelligence, and evolutionary theory as well as traditional issues in the philosophy of mindDaniel C. Photos of 1960 Brooklyn airline crash that sparked new era of 'black boxes'
The 2,500 responders comprised of police and fire crews found only one survivor in the entire wreckage – an 11-year-old boy named Stephen Baltz of Wilmette, Illinois, who had been flying alone to join his mother, who was waiting for him at the airport.
He told a doctor that he had seen snow falling on New York City from the plane. ‘It looked like a picture out of a fairy book. It was a beautiful sight.’ Stephen lived for 27 hours, but then succumbed to his injuries.
After subsequent inquiries, investigators concluded the deadly crash was 61 per cent liable to United Airlines, 24 per cent the U.S. government, and 15 per cent for TWA. The worst airline accident of the time also called for a revaluation of air-traffic control systems.
In total, 134 people died from the disaster. Sir Edmund Hillary – one of the first to conquer Mount Everest – had booked a seat on the doomed United Airlines flight, but missed his flight after a late arrival at O’Hare.
DIY Christmas Snow Village to Make From Boxes | Ziggity Zoom Parents

Create this beautiful shimmering Holiday Snow Village from a few of your discarded boxes and old file folders. Really! This is my all time favorite craft project and we are happy to share it with all of our DIY friends. It seems hard to believe that you can turn mundane little boxes into something this special.
This little village is perfect for a centerpiece or a mantle display. You can even create a Mini-village for your mantle. Let the kids help with the base painting and adding glitter for a real family fun project.
What To Do: Collect boxes for buildings, such as a tea box, small instant potato box, etc. You can also make a Mini-village using just tiny discarded boxes. Tape all openings shut. Paint boxes and let dry. We made tinted white mixtures, using a small amount of color with white paint to get pastel shades. Make trees from old green file folders or other thin cardboard. Roll cardboard/folder into a cone shape the desired size. Staple bottom edge to hold and then tape along edge as necessary to hold shape. Level off bottom with scissors.
Zuzu's Petals 'n' Stuff: Forest and snow Bird box
I made this bird box facing that view and I have to say i enjoyed making it. I am not happy with how harsh it looks in the photos, as in real life its very soft and almost has a bridal look... It also has oodles and oodles of crystal glitter and glass glitter on it.. and its twinkling away like mad here. its like frost and fresh snow catching the sun.... sadly the photos dont catch that but you can get the general idea.
