This is the real deal. Unlike the ineffective plastic shovels and snow pushers being sold today, this is a heavy duty steel blade snow pusher. Your snow removal work is cut in half. Christmas storm hit midcoast, southern Penobscot County hardest
BANGOR, Maine — The storm that moved through Maine on Christmas hit the area from the midcoast to southern Penobscot County the hardest, according to the National Weather Service in Caribou.
Snow accumulations around the state ranged from less than an inch in southern Maine, the western mountains and Aroostook County to 5½ inches in Penobscot and 5 inches in Camden. More than 3 inches blanketed Bangor and 5 inches fell in Bradley, meteorologist Ken Wallingford said Monday afternoon.
Wallingford described the storm as a “clipper system” that moved from west to east and into the Gulf of Maine relatively quickly.
“It was not a big nuisance,” he said.
After sunset and before the storm ended around 11 p.m., cars were slipping and sliding on slippery roads, according to the Maine State Police.
A similar storm could move through Maine again Friday, but not before temperatures warm up Tuesday into Wednesday, Wallingford said. Rain is expected throughout the state on those days but cold air will descend overnight Wednesday into Thursday with strong gusty winds.

Notice the custom genuine carriage bolt gear shift. I put the stack on for the exhaust because on the last motor, the exhaust came out next to the left foot rest and melted a hole in my shoe. Now it doubles and a hand warmer. The blue thing is a cup holder that swivels so it will stay level going up hill. This thing did a **** good job last year until the motor locked up. I took the 8 hp motor off and put a 12 on with electric start, which explains the "easy access" battery, it wouldn't fit ANY where ells, so I built a battery box off the side. I've added a head light since the pics. Now all I need is to find is some one that can paint on pen striping. The blade is the perfect width for the side walk in front of the house. I'll run all the way up the street and back for the neighbors. Can't wait to try it with the new motor. the only problem is reverse sucks, I need to figure out how to adjust it. I haven't dealt with blowers on tractors much, in fact I'll be installing my first one for my mom this weekend on her Cub. But I do manage a small engines shop, mowers/snow blowers ect. For the big walk behinds, we set the skid shoes for an inch clearance on the scraper bar for customers with gravel drives. See if maybe that helps you with your lane.
