Great snow blade
After having this product for almost a month I am pleased with it. I consider it more of a snow blade than plow. But it works as advertised. Little difficult to use at first when blade is on rear of vehicle as you plow in reverse but you get the hang of it after a while. Nice quality... -
Great manual snow plow
I've owned this Snowsport plow for 2 winters and I can say that I am very impressed with it. I own a 1999 Ford Expedition and due to the lite duty front end I cannot put on a regular hydraulic or electric snow plow. I came across this ( with free shipping) and decided to go for it. You get a...

A well-written, lively, optimistic book that calls for the transformation of technology in government from lipstick on a bulldog to total information awareness. This book is proactive in nature (see what these governments are really doing), does not call for a wholesale and costly transformation, and employs a subtle shaming of those governments that have not yet joined the 21st century. William Eggers's argument, conservative in nature, states that the world of politics would quickly and markedly benefit from this digital transformation in terms of a fiscal payoff, but a more profound change would result as governments become more transparent, more democratic, and more efficient.

"As a basis for advancing sound decision making, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) is committed to developing high-quality transportation data and information. With the understanding that geospatial data provide an important infrastructure for managing and integrating information necessary for informed decision making, BTS asked the Transportation Research Board to conduct a project to provide recommendations for improving geospatial information infrastructure among and across all modes of transportation. The objectives of this project were to (a) characterize the current practice in geospatial information technologies in transportation organizations; (b) identify problems and opportunities in coordination, communication, and cooperation on geospatial information among transportation modes; (c) suggest mechanisms for the development, management, and coordination of geospatial information technologies throughout USDOT; and (d)...

Column: County Executive: 'I'm Looking Very Hard at' Running for Governor
The county executive read these blogs? Does he know about the concerns of Patch commenters, Twitter followers and Facebook stalkers? Does venting one’s spleen online make a difference?
“Generally, I’m aware of what’s being said online,” said Ulman in a phone interview this week. “I’m big on social media.”
Ulman admitted he can’t read every word that’s put out there but said that he and his staff pay close attention to the rumors swirling around the local watering holes.
“We work hard not to get caught up in [negative comments],” said Ulman. He noted that constructive criticism will not be deleted from his Facebook page .
Facebook criticism ranges from opposition to Ulman attending a menorah lighting (“I am opposed to all public religious observances, and would prefer that my elected officials observe their holidays privately, thank you,” wrote one citizen on Dec. 21) to pleas for improved transportation for seniors.
Pros/Cons for snow plows....... - Polaris ATV Forum
We sell a lot of the Eagle plow systems as well as the Warn (which offers a $50 rebate). Both are much stronger that the Polaris system. I would suggest the 60" blade. When you plow with the blade on a angel it is still wider then the tires of the XP. Front mount is very easy to take on and off while with the belly mount it takes more time not to mention more storage space when not in use. Remember winter is almost here and most are getting low on inventory! Any question please feel free to call our store and ask for Thor. I know just about everything on these systems since we only sell what we have tested and it has passed our inspection. 2009 Sportsman 850XP Red. A local dealer is offering me a price of $405 for the mount the push tube and the 60" blade. As far as I can tell, from researching the internet, it is a good price. That price is for the straight blade, I have never owned a plow so I don't know if I should spend the extra money for a country plow. What are your thoughts on the blade? Straight or Country?
