Just got an older truck with a fairly new plow and when i plow, the blade bends/folds forward almost to the point it is flat. Why is this and can it be fixed?
It sounds like you may be exceeding the capacity of the springs on the plow. If plowing in deep snow, hold the blade up a couple of inches as you make your first pass. then run the row again with the plow on the ground.

Woodstock officials hear another property maintenance ordinance objection
Woodstock selectmen and their CEO Tuesday faced off again with another person unhappy with the enforcement of the town's Property Maintenance Ordinance.
Code Enforcement Officer Joelle Corey-Whitman has been working in recent months to get many people to clean up their properties.
In this most recent issue, the officials said there had been many attempts over the past year to get the former S and S Redemption Center property in Bryant Pond Village cleaned up inside and out. Last month Corey-Whitman sent a registered letter to owner John Berry of Arizona, notifying him of a public hearing on the issue April 17. They said he signed for the letter but never responded.
But on Tuesday his granddaughter, Julie Berry, said they should have notified her and her mother about the public hearing.
She said they have responsibility for the property, and the town officials knew it.
She also said the property has been in better shape under her grandfather’s ownership.
