I know that sounds like I’m a kid – and that’s how giddy I feel at the moment, but mostly because the book presents some hard work on my end. It’s now available for download at http://ebook.seosage.org and I’m hoping that when people ask you if you know how to set up a website, and how to profit from and SEO it, etc. that you’d send them there to download it.

It’s free, honest and covers the bases. I wrote for the newbie, which is still a name that could apply to me, but after a year of my own IM ventures and client work besides, I know this business fairly well (my slice of it, anyway).

I’m pumped like Arnold was in the Conan movies to get it into the hands of people who want to learn and earn, and also: the design…wow! I don’t know who Matt hired, but they ROCK. The design is hot sauce on a jalapeno – I love how it looks (I had nothing to do with that end).

Besides that, I’ve been meaning to for a year, and glad I waited to do it until now. People ask me what I do for a living, and their eyes gloss over when I try to tell them…they have no idea what I’m talking about.

But sometimes, they light up. They want to know a bit more…until I start explaining further (there’s so much to learn!).

Do you know anyone who has asked you how to make money online passively – only to realize you “know too much” at this point? The problem is usually not “I don’t know” but, “I know too much.” It’s hard to connect with a beginner if they have never set up a website, so you’re talking to someone from another planet almost.

Just check out Twitter for a while, or blogs like this one (maybe not my posts, but the comments)…what you and I may bandy about as “shop talk” goes right over someone’s head if they’re new. Just the other day, my wife asked how to use Facebook to promote Amazon links …I couldn’t believe my ears.
