  1. Dig It
If you go to Target, Home Depot or any of the other big chains that sell the Toro Electric Shovel you will probably find the same thing that I did...that it is SOLD OUT. Why? Because this is one of the most helpful tools to have ever been placed on the market. It works fairly well on small...

How to stop snow from sticking to the shovel?

Does anyone know a trick to prevent snow from sticking to the snow shovel? I tried oil, that didn't work.

I use car wax on it. That would probably be the longest lasting treatment of all & usually does last me all winter (and I live in central MN so the snow season is december thru the end of march).

They can move mountains—mountains of snow, that is. They being Big Bear soccer supporters.

A determined group of parents, friends, community supporters, athletes and coaches worked tirelessly to remove snow from the Big Bear High School soccer field during the Presidents’ Day holiday weekend. It wasn’t exercise nor an exercise in futility. It was a show of solidarity and support for the Lady Bears varsity soccer team.

Volunteers showed up in a steady stream Feb. 18-21 to lend a helping shovel to the cause—remove the snow from the field so the Lady Bears can play their second-round CIF Division 7 playoff game at home Wednesday, Feb. 22.

Things didn’t look promising after the first two days. By the end of the day Feb. 19, more than half the field was still covered.

One day later, the smiles started to form on  the volunteers’ faces. By 4 p.m. Feb. 20 more than two-thirds of the field was cleared.

Robert Anaya read about it on a friend’s Facebook page and showed up to help Monday. He arrived around 10 a.m. and was still hard at work late that afternoon.

anyone made a snow shovel on wheels? - MIG Welding Forum

Hi just wondered if anyone has made or used one of these. Seems like an ideal welding project. If anyone has used one are they useful in anything above a couple of inches of snow? The ground clearance of the plough seems to be dictated by the angle of the handle but not sure if that is ideal when your trying to push it and it digs into ground. Anyone got any ideas what material is best for the leading edge , presumably some sort of rubber or plastic? http://balkowitsch.amazonwebstore.co...1I7DUrSpKL.jpg Hi just wondered if anyone has made or used one of these. Snow Shovels :: Active Outdoors :: Youth Outdoor Activities

There are several different applications for snow shovels; clearing your path, clearing the road, digging your car out of the snow. Although you can use the same type of snow shovel for all of them, you might want to get one suitable for your use.

If you want to have a snow shovel in your car as an emergency snow shovel, a normal snow shovel or long handle snow shovel may not fit into your trunk. So, you will find a folding snow shovel ideal for the job. You may want to have a metal folding snow shovel as it is better at shovelling up frozen compact snow on roads.

I have seen people on their hands and knees with a dustpan and brush trying to clear snow from their paths. Don't make life difficult for yourself. If you want to quickly get that path cleared of snow, buy yourself a snow shovel .
