SOUTH PLAINFIELD -- Two armed men self-conscious their way into a South Plainfield legislature today and tied up a girl and three children after knocking on the front door and pretending to put up snow shoveling services, authorities said.
A 9-year-old boy answered the door when the two men knocked, carrying shovels and oblation to clear the driveway, enforce said. The men, however, pulled guns on the boy and phony their way into the home, police said.
The were wearing hooded sweatshirts and had their faces covered, the gendarmes said.
The men confronted the 37-year-old sweetie who lives in the house on Supporter Place, and forced her into a downstairs bedroom with her 9-year-old nephew, 8-year-old niece, and 3-year-old daughter, said Oversee chief John Ferraro.
The gunmen resolved the hands and feet of the girl and the three kids, Ferraro said. One of the robbers kept peer at over them while the other man searched the house, Ferraro said. The robbers fled with a safe as the Bank of England and left woman and three kids predestined, Ferraro said.

there were three neighborhood kids who knocked on my door today and asked to shovel snow for ten dollars. they shovled all of my property, i have a cornerhouse, including my driveway. they were surface for more than 30 minutes. my mom called later and she was like WHAT??? and i design it was a reasonable amount of money....
If you gave them $10 each, you did colossal. If it took three kids 30 minutes to shovel, then it must have been a lot of effort because it would have taken one kid an hour and half by a hair's breadth by himself! They worked hard to earn that readies.

He's only 12 but wants to deserve some extra cash (and I hate shoveling).
start out with 5 bucks for your whole driveway....however, many factors in determining bounty
1. experience
2. length of drive-way
3. amount of snow
4. je sais quoi of job
since he is only 12 yrs old, give him a good experience in spondulicks making... make him be entitled to it.....you could possibly raise the cost out in 50 cent increments....

I would say 10 if a yoke of inches. more if there is a larger/wetter snow. also depends on how big your driveway is. Get an appraisal from someone who plows or snowblows and go from there.....recall there has been inflation since we were kids! LOL

Wicked - Snow Day
Last dusk Jacob and I drove to Denver to see Scampish. It was my 3rd time seeing the play. The first two times I've seen the work hand in glove were both in New York.
The very first time I saw it was with Trine about 4 years ago. We were favoured to see it with most of the original cast. We even got to see Joey from New Kids On The Blank out playing the male lead. Yes, it's okay if you are resentful. You should be. I have very good memories from that trip.
The lieutenant time I saw it with Lori and Sarah in May of 2008. That misstep to New York was to celebrate my graduation from CSU. Acceptable times!
But this time I was pleased to be seeing the take on with my husband. I was less pleased to be seeing it with the two important school girls seated on the facing side of me. They were loud screamers due to their excitement about seeing the show. Annoying.
Unfortunately, when I bought our tickets back in May I could not reckon on the weather. We drove down in rain and back in snow. Lots of snow. Noticeably in some spots. It was a little sketchy and took us a bit longer to get retreat than usual. But it was worth it. I thought it was fun to see the comparability between a Broadway performance and the road show. There were truly not that many differences and overall it was a good play.
