Don't want to shovel or plow snow? Let a dragon eat it.
Fit the snow dragon, a machine that looks like a dumpster and acts like a hot tub. Gurgling, hot water melts snow dumped into it and then discharges it.

Snow Storm! How do I prevent the snow plow from blocking my driveway after I shovel???
Feb 06, 2008 by Bullmastiff_Boxer_lover | Posted in Garden & Landscape
We have a gargantuan snow storm here in Chicago more than 14 inches!!!! And it is forceful snow~~~~~~~you can snow men!!
This has happened to me, too.
I shovel the snow all the way across to the other side of the terrace. When the snow plow comes through my area, there is no snow for them to push to either side of the concourse and, therefore, does not block my parking rank. I have three disabilities and this method works!
When the snow plow comes through, they strike dismissal all of the snow to each side. If there is no snow within that particular area (in front of my my parking room and driveway), there is no snow pushed to the side to block my arrondissement!

A stop to the snowplow from blocking your driveway?
But that's their job!
Ah, wretched, couldn't resist.
The best opportunity is to wait, if possible, until the plow has gone by before shovelling the driveway. It won't rectify is any easier, but you won't have to go out there twice.
overlytired | Feb 06, 2008
Park your car at the end of the driveway with your bumper sticking out straight a bit. Not so far that the plow hits it, just enough that they have to move over a bit. This keeps the snow from getting pushed into the driveway origin. It works for me, but try at you own risk. Not responsible for juice-head or fatigued plow operators.LOL

Be unshakable you shovel to the left (when you are standing on the street looking at your household) and if you shovel about 10 feet to the right of the driveway, there will be much less for the plow to put in next patch he goes by.

Should an apartment complex be responsible for clearing snow?
Dec 17, 2007 by mistaken4sane | Posted in Other - Home & Garden
The snow plow "clearing" my apartment parking lot piled snow 3-feet intoxication behind my car. I don't have a shovel (although I realize now I need one) so I spent the morning cleaing the snow with a broom (which is now ruined).
I saw other people with the same uncontrollable ... one girl got stuck irritating to pull out last night.
Should it up to apartment managment/matinence to confirm we don't have this problem?
I would fantasize so, probably with the outrageous amount of rent you're paying.

yes it should be...they are ethical for everything because you rent from them...it doesn't belong to you so why should you be trustworthy
Kristina J | Dec 17, 2007
Yes. If you lament to the apartment managers and they don't do anything, you can report them to Occupier Services or another appropriate agency through your burgh government.

Use a garden hose with a chem sprayer full of boulder salt. What comes out will be brine.
crossbones668 | Jan 31, 2007
I'm not persuaded there's much else you can do to get rid of snow. go to the hardware store and see if they have anything? Try a big place like Lowe's or Snug harbor a comfortable Depot..something like that. Aside from poverty-stricken salt, shoveling or plowing, I can't regard as of anything else that would do the trick. good luck.

Rate the kid down the street with the snow blower (or a shovel).
So many kids would like to traverse some money, if we'd just hire them. You get the snow removed, they get some spending lolly. Win-Win.
