Ohio snowstorms, and good neighbors Wilmington News Journal, OH
Ohio snowstorms, and secure neighborsBy COLLEEN BAILEY, Visitor columnist
I purposefully waited for snow. It was age to write about winter in Ohio, but I needed incentive, so I waited. Early on, we were teased with some touch off snowfalls, but they didn’t animate enough. Eventually, back to back snowfalls within three days heavily blanketed our universe.
Day one of the second winter commotion found me tucked snugly up the river the warm house watching the artwork in enlargement, insulated from the elements, capable to view the ever-whitening panorama through the binoculars of our 1960’s picture window. It was charming, but still I wasn’t motivated to note.
Day two of the storm beckoned me to devise the warmth of my home. I yielded. I traded my cozy effectively for my cozy PT Cruiser and headed to hamlet for a few hours. I wanted to just now be out in the elements, but I, also, had reason to give stop: I needed to run a few errands for my snowbound mama-in-law…hers is a story in itself, but that part of the joke comes later.
