First the pros for the Husqvarna 961 93 00-66 and the available features that comes with it. It features a two stage style mechanism of getting the snow off your driveway. This features a powerful 249cc motor but that is actually smaller than the 342cc motor that the competitor has. This model has a 24 inch clearing width but that’s just not quite as large as the clearing width of the Ariens 921018. They both have a 120 volt electric starting system that makes everything easier. No more pulling a rip cord relentlessly.
Both have basically the same chute features. Both are made out of steel, have a 200 degree turning radius and a 50 foot throwing distance.
The drive systems between these two models are quite difference. Having several speeds means that you can breeze through light snowfalls without a problem where as having only one speed means that it could waste your time. The Ariens 921018 snow blower features 6 forward speeds and 2 reverse speeds to make the time go by faster whereas the other model just has a variable speed control.

Usually snow blower running?
I have an Ariens snowblower 8HP 910,017. It usually starts when I pull the string.However if I try to start it with some gas or starting fluid runs through a big as a minute and then dies.And I can not run unless you try starting fluid. The gas line goes directly from the tank to the carburetor. I have new oil and gas in it. spark plug too. A friend of mine says that unlike the plug is why its not starting but do not seem like it would be him. And the gas is coming to carbohydrates than I can say what else could it be? problem.
probably have to remove and clean the carbureator. The 8hp is an updraft carbs and needs adequate fuel flow to start. as it runs with s. liquid Power your system. is fine. some of the carbohydrates have a drain at the bottom of the carb (little pin with spring) put fresh gas tank and sewage and drainage press old gas in the container to cool the gas below, try to restart. SURE it will not close the valve end in the tank last year. The tank also has a filter screen in the outlet that can clog. ps a carb kit is cheap to that fan so I suggest putting one in the measure time and labor to clean is the same as putting in the game. NEVER remove the small float can be fitted as carbohydrate / Going to lose the inlet needle. Do not use cables in it, either as this can damage the seat (you can blow out if I also use compressed air)
