much better units out there
this product is a cool idea...a leaf blower that turns vacuum w/the flip of a switch. Problem is, it doesn't do it nearly as well as it could or should. First, the impeller is plastic. One errant rock or hard piece of bark sucked up in the vacuum, and expect your blades to chip. Mine chipped... -
bag broke after usihg 2 times/very poor customer service
After the second use the zipper on the bag broke. Contacting customer service has been a nightmare. They don't answer the phone and a machine asks you to leave a call back number, which they say they will return in 24-48 hours, never happened. Finally after 2 weeks I finally got a hold of...

I have replaced the spark plug and changed oil, but how do you adjust the timing and concentration by ear?
Check for an air filter too - something I always tend to forget on small engines.
I just adjust the Carb jet by hand until it runs the best I can get -
Beyond that I'll have to plead ignorance and let a shop do it, hehe

There is a big difference in a single stage and two stage snow blower. A single stage blower uses a single impeller to do both auging the snow and discharging the snow out the shoot. Major disadvantage in heavier snow belt areas or if the snow is wet
Looking at snow blowers and this looks like a sturdy options. Does anyone have any info. for me so I can decide if this is a good purchase. Thanks.
I don't know about snow blowers in particular (live in Austin, Tx area-not enough snow to blow!) but my husband has a lot of experience with their lawn mowers. He repairs and re-sells and always can get more for a Poulan Pro or Briggs engine.

Snow blower doesn't throw snow far enough: - Snowblower Forum ...
Yeah I hear ya you can make anything a money pit if you want. Only throwing about 8 ft dosnt seem its working right. Do a google on SNOWBLOWER HIGH PERFORMANCE IMPELLER KIT you can come up with some different stuff and opinions. I'm trying a 1/2 inch bigger drive pulley this year roughly 17-18% higher impeller speed. Works excellent in this low lite stuff have to see if I can pull it when the good stuff shows up next month or so
