Customer Reviews:
  1. Good product. Unforgiving design.
After shopping for a garage ceiling storage system, I purchased this device. I was attracted to the ability to raise and lower the platform to load and unload items. This avoids the obvious pitfalls of using a ladder to hoist large or heavy items up from the ground. In summary, I am reasonably...
  2. Here's a better approach than the manual shows
I just finished my install today. Plan on at least 4 hours for this project. The joist do not have to be EXACTLY 48" as other reivews stated. That is the MOST the distance can be. You can be as close as 46 1/2. There is play in the bar that attaches the two ends. Here's my contribution to...

could anyone tell me about Toro 1800?

I want to buy snow thrower and I interested on Toro 1800. Could anyone tell about Toro 1800 quality, Is it good to buy? Moreover, is it easy to break the Plastic rotor or blade?

Thanks

Toro quality is good, or at least everything that I have got is good. The blades will wear, but not for a long time. And they are easy to replace. They should be viewed as a part that will need replacement - just think of the job you are asking...

Which one to buy?
1) MTD Snow Thrower — 179cc, 2 Stage, Model# 31A-32AD700
2)Toro Power Clear™ 210 (38587)

a 2 stage snow blower is best because it can actually throw the snow over a longer distance.

Which is better to have ?

I have an 8 hp walk behind snow thrower.I'am thinking of buying.
a snow thrower that attaches to my garden tracter. which is better to have?

I have both and the walk behind is better to maneuver, The Garden tractor cleans faster but it seems to toss it all over.

anyone own a power clear snow thrower from toro?

I just bought one yesterday.....just wondering how they do in packed snow with some ice underneath?

You should have asked this question before buying it. Everything has it's limitations. You have a "thrower" not a "blower", big difference.

Countdown: Medfield Green Day is Saturday

We have been counting down the days to Medfield Green's fourth annual Green Day to better prepare you for the town's largest recycling day of the year.

And with the event scheduled to be held Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon, it is now time to finish gathering your unwanted belongings and load up your car for a trip to the American Legion Hall .

Medfield Green Day, sponsored by the Medfield Employers and Merchants Organization (MEMO) and organized by Medfield Green, is a one-stop community zero waste event. All items collected will be either donated to different charities or recycled for reuse.

The Butterfly Tree boutique has generously provided $5 coupons, one per car, as a thank you for donating items at this event. The Butterfly Tree offers many eco-friendly gift items and is located on Main Street in Medfield.

There is no charge for the disposal of metals, including microwaves, washers, dryers, and air conditioners. Electronics are also welcomed and a small fee of $5 to $10 will be charged. Large TVs can be dropped off for a $10-$25 fee. Some of the other items to be collected are:

Black Friday – The Best Time To Buy Snow Throwers | free online ...

I think we could all agree that the better time to purchase a snow thrower is before it snows. Although, because we all also want the most value for our money, the problem of how long before it snows is the better time to purchase a snow thrower, becomes the big question.

Late winter or spring sales usually bring the very lowest prices on whatever might be leftover from the snow season. This means that ( if you are in a position to find any leftovers) you should have a restricted choice of variations to pick out from. You may need to buy one of whatever is accessible right at that moment.

Another really big issue is one of warranty. If you purchase a machine in February or March, and avoid the use of it until the accompanying December- you have lost maybe 70-80 percent of your one-year warranty. Then mid- way into the snow season you have a breakdown and your warranty will have expired. Huh

At the other extreme, is the person who waits until the first snowfall to purchase a snow thrower. Regrettably, there seems to be a huge group of these people. As reported by interviews I have read with large snow machine dealers, there is a big surge of sales just as the first snow is falling. Prices are likely the highest right now of year than at any other time you could purchase a snow thrower.

Here is ways you would approach buying your next snow machine:

- You would start planning while you were still battling the current years snowfall, by looking at as many units as was left at dealers-primarily to help educate yourself.

- You would chat to your friends and neighbors to learn about their likes and dislikes of the equipment they are utilizing.

- You would gather up all the catalogues of all the makes and models of machines you think you would think about for the work you should do.

- You would scour the internet all spring and summer to look at what new models were coming out, and what new features were available.
