Best Deal in Town
Bought this unit in November 2008 for $649. Couldn't find anything else under $800-$900 with a headlight, remote chute control, auger lock and variable speed settings. Did I mention free freight delivery right to the house and the friendly driver who helped me take the thing off the semi-trailer...

my aunt gave me a snow blower that worked when she put it in storage 3 years ago. i got it and put gas in it to see if i can get it to work. its a craftsman Electric Start 8/26 Model # 536.886280. i just looked at it and its not getting a spark.
Sounds like you got some corroded wires. Look at carb where the cable for throttle connects and see if you can find a wire close to that throttle. If so disconnect this wire and try again.
Your best bet for that answer might be at the Sears store.
I have a craftsman snow blower. model nr: 247.881900. I have it for 3 year. Now, I found it had some problems. the engine runs erratically and overheats. i think the carburetor is out of adjustment. any one knows how to fix.
I had one,i switched to a honda,by far the best snowblower ever made. Most repair shops sell carb kits for around 30 bucks,if your handy they are simple to rebuild,if not they should do it for 40 to50 dollars.

Warren Spooner was born after a prolonged delivery in a makeshift delivery room in a doctor's office in Milledgeville, Georgia, on the first Saturday of December, 1956. His father died shortly afterward, long before Spooner had even a memory of his face, and was replaced eventually by a once-brilliant young naval officer, Calmer Ottosson, recently court-martialed out of service. This is the story of the lifelong tie between the two men, poles apart, of Spooner's troubled childhood, troubled adolescence, violent and troubled adulthood and Calmer Ottosson's inexhaustible patience, undertaking a life-long struggle to salvage his step-son, a man he will never understand.

Former Riverside resident arrested on drugs and weapons charges
Information developed by a Riverside police officer who is a member of the West Suburban Directed Gang Enforcement (WEDGE) task force led police on Friday to arrest a former Riverside resident in Berwyn, charging him with drug dealing and weapons offenses.
At 1:30 p.m., police executed a search warrant at a home in the 7100 block of 31st Street in Berwyn, where they arrested 20-year-old Francis X. Golniewicz IV. He has been charged with possession of cannabis, possession of cannabis with intent to deliver and unlawful use of a weapon.
Golniewicz, reportedly, is a self-admitted member of the Villa Lobos gang. At the time of his arrest, he reportedly had in his possession 62 grams of cannabis, packaged for sale, and a loaded .32-caliber semiautomatic pistol.
Golniewicz reportedly lives with his father, former Cook County judge Francis X. Golniewicz III, who was reportedly home at the time the search warrant was executed by police.
