Snow angels: Hanover driveways covered by plowing trio The Newark Advocate
Hanover has three such angelic Samaritans who jump on their tractors at the first hire of snow and plow driveways. Mitch Flowers, 18, a chief at Licking Valley Lofty School, has been plowing snow from neighbors' driveways for four years on his confessor's John Deere tractor.
He started when he was a freshman and often plows with his cousin, Tyler Flowers, 23, and neighbor Casey Arthur.
"For the bigger driveways, I call Tyler," Mitch Flowers said. "He has a bigger tractor than mine. For this at intervals, I don't know how many driveways we did. I can't keep shadow of them all, maybe 45."
The trio, which plowed from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. one just out day, does not charge for their services, but if people hanker after to pay them, they certainly can. It will help indemnify the price of diesel excite.
"If they offer it and want to pay me, I assume it," Mitch Flowers said. "But half the formerly I plow when people aren't native. I'm not worried about the money, it's unbiased a bonus for me."
