If you go to Target, Home Depot or any of the other big chains that sell the Toro Electric Shovel you will probably find the same thing that I did...that it is SOLD OUT. Why? Because this is one of the most helpful tools to have ever been placed on the market. It works fairly well on small... -

I would call an associational meeting and get the other residents together to insists that the section that was not plowed to be plowed. You pay fees and don't some of these fees go towards plowing?

Hello,
What would be a decent small snow blower that would be for a walkway, and at the most, to help get my car freed if it snows overnight. Small and I guess it can be either electric or gas powered.
I've been thinking of purchasing this model:

I have a small driveway and we don't get a ton of snow here.
No. Sorry.

OK folks, May Long Weekend is upon us, so you know what that means in Grande Prairie: Get your parkas out and dust off the snow blower... just kidding, I hope, but our climatic record in this regard, especially in the high country has not been fantastic. Let’s hope this one is better, and if the wind could give it a rest for even a half day, that would be fantastic. In that regard, I’d like to hear from some of you “longtimers” and add your perspective to how windy it is here. I have been here 15 years and it is certainly a windy place, but this windy? Why? Or am I just imagining it?

Anyway, first raspberry is to me. Thursday’s front page headline seemed to “Perplex” some readers, and I understand. When you have to think of 253 front-page headlines a year, one tries to be creative, especially with good news stories such as that one on the big user numbers at the Eastlink Centre, formerly the Multiplex. I was going for a play on Plex with “flex” as in flexing muscular numbers, but I guess it didn’t work. Can’t win ’em all. Plus, I hate when you wake up out of a dead sleep and think of the headline you should have used but didn’t. “Plex appeal!” that’s what it should have been. So call that a do-over.
