Troy-Bilt Snow Thrower - 2 years old
Just stopped suddenly last using it and recoil starter wont pull.
Everything looks clean.....
It sounds like the spring return pin is jammed. If you can access the coil of rope, it is usually fairly easy to unjam. Good luck!

Freshman helps Blue Springs end Broncos' Big Six reign
Gabby Hall set the bar so high at her first Suburban Big Six Conference track and field meet that the freshman might not be able to reach it, even if she stands on the top rung of a ladder.
Hall won the prestigious Golden Shoe Award, given to the athlete who scores the most points in the meet, by winning the 100, 200, 400 and running the second leg of the winning 800 relay team.
“Gabby was amazing,” Blue Springs coach Jennifer Reeder said, “but as amazing as she was, what was really amazing about winning conference was the total team effort from all the girls.
“Gabby is going to get a lot of attention for her performance, but she is so good that I know she can handle the pressure next Saturday (at district in Belton). We knew she was going to be good, but we didn’t know she was going to be this good.”
The same might be said of her Wildcats, who ended Lee’s Summit North’s five-year run as the Big Six Conference champion Friday.
How to Select the Right Snow Thrower for the Job this Winter ...
When it comes to selecting the right snow blower this winter you need to understand a few very important factors. One of the biggest factors concerns the size of the area required to be blown This is where a Briggs & Stratton snow blower will come in very handily especially when it gets down well below freezing and the snowdrifts are everywhere.
Average Snow Fall Rate
While it is important to find out your areas average annual snowfall rate, you do not have to be a meteorologist in order to find this information. It is rather easy and all you have to do when it comes to selecting the right Briggs and Stratton snow blower is to know your options. If you happen to live in Minnesota where snowdrifts can get as high as telephone poles then the large-frame, two-stage unit capable of clearing wide, deep paths of snow will be the choice for you.
Handheld or Pulled?
Another great way to find out what type of snow blower or snow thrower is right up your alley is to make sure you know the difference between a handheld unit and a snowplow. With the latter case, you will have to look into the commercial sized Briggs & Stratton snow blower or snowplows that are available on the site. If snowfalls of 12 inches or more are common in your area, be sure to select a snow thrower that can handle at least that much snow. Please see the dual list below, which will tell you whether you need a Briggs & Stratton snow thrower, or a snow blower that pulled by a lawn or garden tractor.
· Compact Single-Stage Unit for Clearing Small Areas like Urban Sidewalks and Narrow Skinny Driveways.
· Snow Thrower or Snowplow for Lawn or Garden Tractor for Expansive Driveways that are more than 100 Feet in Length.
