Bought the thrower last year just now getting on here to type. Reached the age that shoveling was not a lot of fun but usually dont get a lot of snow living in the ohio river valley. Well, I picked a good year to get it because we had at least three snow falls that i would guess were around six inches or more. I have a wide and rather long driveway and it worked like a champ. It may not do well if you have a lot of ice mixed in and would not wait for the snow to be 18 inches befor starting. fantastic value for the bucks.
