THEFT: On April 19, a resident of Cemetery Road, Bishop, went to the sheriff’s office and told a deputy that several items have been stolen from her property during the past five weeks, including a puppy, a chain saw and her photo identification card.
The woman said she believes the person may be staying under her house.
THEFT: On April 19, a deputy was dispatched to a home on Bradford Place, Bishop, where a man said that sometime during the past five weeks, someone stole his red Toro push mower.
THEFT: On April 19, a deputy met with a manager of Verizon Premium Wireless on Experiment Station Road, who said that during an inventory of stock he found that 26 cellular telephones are missing from the store room. The phones are valued at $16,000.
Only employees have access to the storeroom.
FRAUD: On April 20, a deputy was dispatched to a home in Watkinsville, where a woman said she found someone used her identification to gain access to her bank account, however, she could not find where any money was taken or transferred.
