I am in need of a new snow blower. My neighbor has an 8hp Ariens that he swears by and says he would never buy another brand. Any other reviews on the make?
about ariens , for a brief period of time they went to a very small aluminum front gearcase, which split(broke) in two under heavy load, this problem has been resolved with a much larger case, you also have the option($4oo.oo more) of buying their professional series. I myself own a ten horse 32 inch snowblower, an ariens rocket 5 rear tine rototiller, and an ariens leaf shredder all mid 1970`s machines that aside from replacing normal wearing parts ,they have been bullet proof, happy shopping "sasquachbigfoot"
